The baby shower, photographed by everyone who was there.

A baby shower is two hours, fifteen people and a mom-to-be whose hands are full of gifts. WeWere is a shared disposable camera: one QR code, the guests shoot, and the album fills up live — with nothing to install.

Only the host needs the app, on iPhone. Your guests have nothing to install.

A baby shower disposable camera, in every guest’s pocket

You know how it usually ends: the photos are spread across ten phones, the group chat squashes them, and the one of the cake being cut is on the phone of the friend who forgot to send it. Three weeks later, nobody has the full set.

WeWere is one album for the event. Every guest shoots from their own phone, every photo lands in the same place as it’s taken, and the mom-to-be sees the afternoon come together while it’s still happening.

Nothing to install, for the mother-in-law and the best friend alike

Parents hug their daughter in the garden.

Guests scan the QR on the table or tap the link in the group chat. They sign in with the Apple or Google account they already have, and the camera opens in the browser. iPhone or Android, no difference. The relative who never installs anything is in within a minute.

Guests are unlimited, and everyone shoots into one shared photo count that the host picks for the event: 150 photos usually covers an afternoon. Downloading is free, at full resolution, for everyone in the event.

Polaroid film, for the baby-book look

In the app, the host picks the film stock for the whole event. Polaroid is the one made for a baby shower: the white frame, the soft colors, the orange date in the corner. Every photo taken in the app comes out looking like something you’d slip into the baby book.

The other four stocks — Original, 35mm, Black & White, 90s — are there if the mood is different. One choice covers every photo taken in the app.

Set it up beforehand: the QR is ready when she walks in

The organizer — usually a friend or a sister — creates the event in the app a day ahead, prints the table card with the QR and puts it next to the cake. If the shower is a surprise, the mom-to-be scans like everyone else and discovers the album at the same time as the gifts.

If she’d rather run it herself, she creates the event and keeps the album: as host, she can delete any photo, and anyone in the event can flag one.

The Wrapped, to send to the ones who couldn’t come

The next day, the app produces the Wrapped: how many photos were taken, who shot the most, the highlights. A card to drop in the family group chat for the grandparents who were too far away. Then the recap film, cut automatically in the app.

The album stays online for 45 days. To look back on it through the baby’s first year, Keep one year keeps it online for a year instead: $2.99 when added at creation on a paid tier, $5.99 if added later.
