WeWere is a shared disposable camera for events. These are our rules for the app and this website. They are not Apple's terms.
A host creates an event. Guests join with an invite, sign in with Apple or Google, and take photos — from the app or the browser. Every photo lands in one album for that event.
People who joined that event with its invite. If the host turns on the live wall, people who have the wall link can see them on a TV or laptop too. Treat the invite and the wall link like keys: anyone you hand them to can open the album.
You are responsible for the photos you take or add. Don't photograph people who shouldn't be photographed. Don't upload anything illegal, abusive, or that you don't have the right to share.
The host can remove a guest or a photo. Anyone in the event can report a photo. Two different people reporting the same photo hides it from everyone except the host and the person who took it. We can close an event or an account if we have to.
A live album stays online 90 days after the event, then it goes dark. Keep is an optional one-time purchase that keeps that one album online one more year — not a subscription, not all of your albums. Save all in the app copies photos to your camera roll for free. Deleted files are erased within 30 days.
Event size, extra film and Keep are bought through the App Store. Apple takes the payment. We never see your card. For the purchase itself, Apple's terms apply — including how refunds work on Apple's side.
If a bug of ours ruined your event, email us. We refund that, no questions asked. Other refunds go through Apple.
Hosts sign in with Apple. Guests on the website don't need an account. You can delete your account in the app under You → Account. What survives after that is in the privacy policy: other people's albums keep the photos you contributed, without your name.
We run WeWere carefully, but venue wifi is what it is. We don't promise the wall, uploads or the album will work on every network, every night. Save the photos you care about.
We may update these terms. The date at the top is what is current. Using WeWere after a change means you accept the new version.
