Twenty parents with a phone. One album for the PTA.
A school fair, an end-of-year show, a club tournament. Twenty parents photograph the same moments, each keeps their photos on their phone, and the PTA ends up with none of them. WeWere is a shared disposable camera: one QR code at the entrance, and every photo lands in the same album.
Only the host needs the app, on iPhone. Your guests have nothing to install.

One album instead of twenty camera rolls
Print the QR code, put it at the entrance and on the ticket desk. Parents scan it, sign in with the Apple or Google account they already have, and the camera opens in the browser. Nothing to install, on iPhone or Android.
Participants are unlimited, and everyone shoots into one shared photo count picked by the organizer. Everything lands in one album, live, so the PTA has the day’s photos the same evening instead of chasing twenty people for a month.
The album closes on its own after 45 days

This is the part that matters for a school. The album is visible only to the members of the event, the people who scanned the code. No public page, nothing indexed, no ads, no data sold. Photos are hosted in the European Union.
After 45 days the album goes dark. Long enough for everyone to download what they want at full resolution, short enough that the photos are not sitting somewhere for years. Keep one year keeps it online for a year instead, if the PTA decides to.
The organizer keeps control
- Delete a photo — the host removes any photo at any time, without asking anyone.
- Remove a participant — if someone should not be in the event, the host takes them out.
- Flagging — anyone in the event can flag a photo, and the host decides what happens to it.
- Reveal mode — photos can be held until a time you choose, so the album opens after the show rather than during it.
Consent and image rights, settled ahead of time

Photographing children involves rules that have nothing to do with WeWere: informing families, collecting the permission forms the school uses, deciding what may leave the event. Settle that with the principal and the PTA board beforehand, and tell the people who will be taking photos.
Our guide on GDPR and event photos covers the principles: informing people, legal basis, retention, image rights. It is written for companies, and the same logic applies to a PTA. It is not legal advice — for your own case, ask the people responsible at the school.
Three steps
- A week before — create the event, pick the film, print the QR code for the entrance and the desk. Add a line about it to the note that goes home.
- The day of — announce it once at the start. The QR code does the rest.
- After — share the Wrapped with the families. Everyone has 45 days to download.
Which tier for a school event
Participants are unlimited on every tier: you pick a total number of photos, shared by everyone. 300 photos cost $4.99 and include the live wall, which can run on a screen in the gym. For a full fair, 600 photos cost $9.99 and 1,000 cost $14.99. One payment per event, through the App Store, no subscription. If the album fills up, the organizer adds photos from the app. See pricing.
